ARTfx uses both hand sculpting and machine tooling for an infinite variety of textural effects.

Like the figurehead on an old sailing ship, hand carving, silver leaf and gold leaf lend this sign in Mystic, Connecticut, a character all its own.

Hassett & George of Simsbury, Connecticut, turned to ARTfx for a creative approach to a free-standing sign. Ornamental rails, substituted for simple posts, support an oval sign decorated with dimensional graphics.

Though computer-aided machinery is a mainstay in our manufacturing, manual wood carving remains a craft in the ARTfx shop.
