Some of the world’s most sensational signage, architectural fabrication and corporate art originates at ARTfx. Our Bloomfield, Connecticut, staff includes designers from the nation’s leading art schools, craftsmen with decades of industry experience, and project managers with a diversity of backgrounds – all committed to the model set forth 40 years ago. Though our work has increased in scale and scope, the focus on artistry and attention to detail remains as it was the day the doors opened in 1983.
WS Development recommended ARTfx to engineer and install a series of signs and awnings for several upscale boutiques located in Boston’s Seaport District, the single largest active urban expansion project in the city’s history.
ARTfx interpreted the new Kaman logo with dimension and light. The two-tone halo-style letters pictured are part of a series of signs ARTfx created for the Aerospace giant’s headquarters in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
In the newly renovated Lincoln Field science building at Brown University, a three story mural illustrates pixelated planets and notable asteroids of the inner solar system. Integrated within are statistics on satellites, and thoughts concerning space travel. Design credits belong to Ned Goodell and Lynced Torres of KVA Kennedy & Violich Architecture, Boston, Massachusetts.
Town of West Hartford
Many municipalities hire ARTfx for sign design and/or fabrication. These one-of-a-kind signs uniquely identify towns, villages, cities or significant landmarks located within the communities.

A one-time dreary carport is now a welcome addition for four season dining at a popular pub. ARTfx designed the enclosure with removable windows and attractive louvres to facilitate air flow.
