Insurance giant Mass Mutual called upon ARTfx to renovate their Springfield, MA headquarters' ground signs with the idea that costly new signs were unnecessary. Unfortunately, the signs had deteriorated to such an extent that building anew seemed inevitable. However, with creative planning, ARTfx devised faux limestone urethane sheathing with incised gold-leafed letters to encapsulate what existed, providing a brand new look without the expense.
